The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) today launched the second part of its project to support cancer control in eastern Europe.
The project, called Improving Cancer Care Coordination and Screening in Latvia and Slovakia (ICCCS), is a joint initiative with the European Commission and the ministries of health of Slovakia and Latvia to help reduce cancer mortality in these two countries.
